My daughter, CiVonshe Love (hence LoveVonshe), was born with a head full of tight coils. When stretched, good-length hair. But her hair was always thin on the middle of either sides of her head. Daily, I massaged her hair with coconut oil to maintain it.
HAIR TROUBLE BEGAN
When she turned 3 months old, her hair in those thin spots started to fall out, creating a bald line in her hair, (as shown to the left side of the photo below). One of her doctors told me it was normal for that to happen and that even her child lost some hair as well.
However, I was determined to do all I could to stop the breakage and regrow her hair, I couldn't just let her beautiful hair fall out! Coconut oil was just not enough!
HOW I GROW HER HAIR BACK
I massage (for at least 5 minutes) the Grow Me Hair Oil into her scalp 2-3x's per day, sometimes I use coconut oil for extra shine if I feel like she needs it. Remember, consistency is key!
I do this while I am breast feeding...I found it's the perfect time for me to be able massage her scalp for at least 5 minutes on each side.
TIPS
In My personal experience I found that
- hair ties/ hair bows
- head bands
- head coverings (when unnecessary)
can pull the babies hair out. I know many parents whose children are born bald, or with sparse hair. Your first instinct might be to cover it up, or scrape together a few pieces of hair and accessorize it to make it look attractive.
But you could be pulling out the few edges your child has, then saying their hair doesn't grow because of genetics...
Use the Grow Me Hair Oil to help their grow hair, and let their hair breathe. Don't keep a bonnet, cap or head covering on when not necessary (it's often appropriate to put a hat on a baby, I am not saying it isn't...please use your discretion) ...But that's just my 2¢! ☺
